Management

Brent F. Hopkins (Geologist)

Hopkins obtained his BS in Geology in 1981 from the State University of New York at Cortland. He has been involved with Suemaur Exploration & Production, LLC since its inception but formally joined January 1, 2008 as President and CEO. Hopkins was hired as Exploration Manager of Gedd, Inc. in 2002 and later became President. While at Gedd, he was responsible for overseeing various domestic assets along with international investments in Papua New Guinea, Columbia, South America and Belize. The most successful of these investments was in Columbia with Hupecol where over 150 wells were drilled and ultimately a number of concessions were divested to various international companies for over $1.2 billion. Prior to Gedd, Hopkins spent the first 20 years of his career with Genesis Producing Company in various capacities from Geo-tech to Exploration Manager. Hopkins has served as a Director of TIPRO representing Region 1, since 2012. Hopkins is former President of both the Gulf Coast Association of Geological Societies and the Corpus Christi Geological Society, Chaired the GCAGS Conference in Corpus Christi in 2007 and has been Chairman of the Corpus Christi Oilmen’s Tennis Tournament for the past several years (raising money for the CCGS, API and SPE scholarship programs) and is a member of American Association of Petroleum Geologists, and Society of Exploration Geophysicists.

David J. Webster (Engineer)

Webster received his BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1983 and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas. Prior to joining Suemaur Exploration & Production, LLC as Engineering Manager in May 1993, Webster served as a Petroleum Engineer for Magnum Engineering Company from 1990 through May 1993, responsible for drilling, production, and reservoir engineering functions as well as property evaluation. From 1983 to 1990, Webster held various positions of increasing responsibility with Royal Oil & Gas Corporation, ultimately serving as District Engineer for the South Texas area. For the past 24 years, Webster has been responsible for the oversight of all engineering functions for Suemaur. He has performed reserve evaluations and data room presentations for several producing property divestitures over the past 27 years with a combined sale value of approximately $325 million.

Andrew Grubb (Engineer)

* Vice President – Engineering

Grubb received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1978 and is a registered professional Engineer in Texas. He earned an MBA from Texas Christian University in 1998. Prior to joining Suemaur Exploration & Production, LLC in September 2006, Grubb was employed with Burnett Oil Co., Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas. His responsibilities there included drilling, production and reservoir engineering for the company properties in the Anadarko Basin of Oklahoma, the Permian Basin and Fort Worth Basins in Texas. Prior employers included Exxon Company, USA, Harkins & Company, Snyder Oil and Union Pacific Resources. Specifically, Grubb has provided both hands-on engineering and management of drilling and production operations in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kansas and Pennsylvania. He has performed engineering and economic evaluations for numerous acquisitions and divestitures. Two significant acquisitions (both for Snyder Oil Corporation) include the acquisition of Cotton Plant Field in Louisiana and 330,000 acres of fee minerals in North Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas. Grubb is a member of the SPE and AADE.

Jeff Uecker (Engineer)

* Vice President – Engineering

Mr. Uecker received his BS in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas in 1986. Prior to Joining Suemaur Mr. Uecker worked in various capacities for Arco, Amerada, Coastal Oil & Gas, EOG, LMP and various other Texas and international operators. Mr. Uecker also owns a successfully Consulting and Operating company that manages and operates 20 wells in Nueces County.

Mr. Uecker has extensive experience in drilling, completions, and workovers for in both conventional and unconventional reservoirs with a specialty in South Texas HPHT. He is also experienced in reservoir engineering and economic evaluation. Although Jeff is a recent addition to Suemaur his vast experience makes him an excellent addition to the management team.

Geoscience

Leighton Devine

* Exploration Geologist

Devine received his BS in Geology in 2001 from the University of Texas, Austin. Prior to joining Suemaur Exploration & Production, LLC, he worked as an independent geologist exploring multiple trends along the Texas Gulf Coast. Devine joined Suemaur in October 2009.

Accounting

AJ Molnar

* Bookkeeper

Molnar joined Suemaur Exploration & Production, LLC in June of 2002. Prior to joining Suemaur, he held the position of Chief Accountant with B.D. Production Company/Durst Oil Company from 1997 to 2002 and Qaulitest, Inc. from 1997 to 2002. Molnar holds a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi; an AA in Business from Del Mar College and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.

Pamela F. Russell

* Lease Records Supervisor

Russell joined Suemaur Exploration & Production, LLC in December 1991. Russell was with TXO Production Corp. from 1974 through October 1990, where she served as Engineering Secretary for five years, Land Secretary for one year, and Lease Administrator for ten years.

Julia Stone

* Land Assistant

Julia joined Suemaur Exploration & Production, LLC in June 2022 as Land Assistant. Julia has 30 years of diverse oil and gas experience in variance areas of the industry including Accounting, Production Analyst, State Reporting, RRC Compliance, Engineering Assistant, Assistant to Executive Officer, along with general Office Management responsibilities and she is a valuable addition to the Suemaur team.
